Women of Distinction

Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts is pleased to be able to honor women throughout the region at our 2008 Women of Distinction events. Each Woman of Distinction personifies the purpose of the Girl Scout Movement and is personally committed to making the world a better place for the girls of today and tomorrow. The honorees are chosen based on their contributions to the community, both professionally and personally,as well as the example they set for our Girl Scouts. Many of these women have reached remarkable levels of achievement as business, philanthropic, government, education and community leaders. They serve as an inspiration to girls to become self-confident, resourceful and dedicated community members.

This year, Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts will be hosting two Women of Distinction events - one luncheon and one dinner. Each event gives the community opportunity to partner with Girl Scouts to honor many outstanding women.
