Community and Corporate Support
Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts receives funding from many sources. Our goal is to secure adequate funding from both community and private sources. These contributions enable us to provide more programs for more girls. Local United Ways, community foundations and corporate contributions provide funding for our council, encompassing the entire geographic area we serve. Grant funding and foundation funding is continually sought for program activities, new initiatives, capital improvements, and financial assistance to girls. Included in this assistance are camperships, registration and aid to girls, troops and groups. Corporate funding is sought both in the areas of monetary support and in-kind gifts.
