Become a Volunteer
Helping girls grow into strong confident women is a fulfilling and inspiring challenge for anyone. How each person is involved is tailored to best fit the individual's needs, abilities and availability. Adults may choose to work directly with the girls or support other adult volunteers through various positions. Training and support are provided for all volunteers.

Ways to Volunteer

Troop Positions

Troop Leader/Advisor
Helps make long range plans and goals for the troop that will enable girls to experience a well-rounded program of fun and personal growth based on the Promise, Law, and purpose of Girl Scouting.

Assistant/Co-Leader
Assists in making and carrying out the plans and goals for the troop.

Troop Committee
Provides leaders and troop with the needed resources to make the troop program successful.

Troop Cookie Manager
Coordinates, supervises, tallies orders, takes delivery and receives payment for all cookies sold by girls in a particular troop. Enables girls to participate in cookie program activities.

First Aider
Provides medical assistance and helps deliver program activities and events to girls and adults. Current certification required.
